- Housing the Beast.
This paper sets out to explore the recurring image of the house and the beast manifest in contemporary illustration, its connections with literature, and its redolence of the tensions between self and other, and the familiar and unfamiliar within contemporary society.
Derek Bainton lectures in Illustration at Swansea Metropolitan University and Tamara Dellutri is an international student from Argentina, currently in her final year of study upon the Illustration degree course.
