Illustrating the Edinburgh Marathon
As a part of her current research Amelia Johnstone will not only be running this years Edinburgh marathon but illustrating it as she runs.
On the 26th May, Amelia will set out with running partner Peter Hathaway and their running-drawing machine *Pheidippides* running and drawing the streets of Edinburgh without stopping – One drawing for each of the 26.3 miles! (What does 0.3 of a drawing look like?)
They’re doing this because they’re “interested in how imagination is invigorated through exercise and adventure!“
