Stephanie is interested in illustration that unfolds over time, and that asks the viewer to do some of the work in making sense of it. This might be in the contributory relationship between words and pictures, work in series or sequence, or illustration extended into three-dimensional forms and spaces to explore.
Stephanie has worked and exhibited as a freelance illustrator since 2002. She holds a BA (Hons) from Glasgow School of Art, a BAGA badge at level 4, an MA from the University of the West of England, and is currently working towards a PhD at the latter. She has been supported in this endeavour by the AHRC.
