Function of Folk Symposium Photographs
The third Illustration Research Symposium was held at the Ethnographic Museum in Krakow on the 8 and 9 November 2012.
Papers were presented by Desdemona McCannon, Amelia Johnstone, Peter Lloyd, Jim Walker, Chris Campe, Jaleen Grove, Alexa Galea, Jonny Hannah, Adrian Holme, Bruce Ingman, Luise Vormittag, Pam Smy, Dr. Sheena Calvert, Dr. Melanie Miller and Dr. Tongy Zhou, Ania Machwic, Mireille Fauchon, Lotte Crawford.
The Ethnographic museum curator, Ewalina Lasota, also gave a presentation about the methods and projects of the museum.
The Keynote speaker was Professor Andrzej Klimowski.
There was an exhibition of works by participating speakers which also included work by Alice Patullo, Andrew Spackman, Aarlo Tsvala, and selected objects from the museum archives.
